By accessing and using LinkPreview ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

LinkPreview provides a platform for creating custom link previews with personalized Open Graph tags. Our service allows users to generate shareable short links with custom titles, descriptions, and images that appear when shared on social media.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use LinkPreview to create, distribute, or promote links containing any of the following prohibited content:

• Adult content - Pornography, sexually explicit material, or any content intended for mature audiences only.
• Malware and phishing - Links that distribute malicious software, attempt to steal credentials, or redirect users to harmful destinations.
• Spam - Bulk link creation, automated link generation, or any form of unsolicited mass distribution.
• Illegal content - Any material that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to copyright infringement, fraud, and illegal trade.
• Deceptive content - Links designed to mislead users about their destination, impersonate other services, or spread misinformation.
• Hate speech and harassment - Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or targeted harassment against individuals or groups.

5. Right to Remove Content

We reserve the right to remove, disable, or restrict access to any link created through our Service that violates these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

6. Credits and Payments

LinkPreview uses a credit-based system for link creation:

• Credits are used to create links on the platform. Each link creation costs a fixed number of credits.
• Free credits provided upon registration are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Link+ subscription credits are allocated monthly and do not roll over to the next billing period.
• Subscription payments are processed through our payment provider. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• We reserve the right to modify credit costs and subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LinkPreview and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a license to use it for providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

LinkPreview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
